The history of Xerox
Xerox, originally named Haloid, started back in 1906 manufacturing equipment and paper for photography. Later in 1956, Haloid marketed Copyflo, the first product based on xerographic technology.
In 1959, Haloid changed its name to Haloid Xerox and introduced the Xerox 914, the world’s first photocopier.
Xerox’s growth from the success of the photocopier propelled them to be an American global corporation today that sells document solutions and services and document technology products in more than 160 countries.
