The history of Ricoh
Founded in 1936 by RIKEN zaibatsu as Riken Sensitized paper, Ricoh is now a Japanese multinational imaging electronics company.
In the late 20th century, the company grew to become the largest copier manufacturer in the world after acquiring Savin, Gestetner, Lanier, Rex-Rotary, Monroe, Nashuatec, IKON and more recently IBM Printing Systems Division / InfoPrint Solutions Company.
