The history of Kyocera
Founded as Kyoto Ceramic Co. 1959, the name was changed to Kyocera in 1982. Kyocera is a multinational electronics and ceramics manufacturer headquartered in Kyoto, Japan.
Kyocera produces industrial ceramics, solar power systems, telecommunications equipment, office copiers and printers, electronic components, semiconductors, cutting tools and components for medical and dental implants.
