A Japanese multinational conglomerate headquartered in Tokyo, Japan originally started out in 1938 as Tokyo Shibaura Electric K.K.

The company officially changed its name to Toshiba in 1978 and has remained so today leading innovation in business, industrial, power & energy, semiconductors and consumer solutions.
