The history of Epson

Epson is a Japanese electronics company and one of the world’s largest manufacturers of printers and imaging related equipment.

Formally established in 1975 as Epson (Son of EP or Electronic Printer) started making the next generation of printers based on previous success from the EP-101; the worlds first compact digital printer.

Epson’s investments in research have allowed technologies like Micro Piezo ink printing systems to become a reality bringing life to their high-resolution printing line.
